Françoise Tollet

Françoise TOLLET

Chief Executive Officer. After receiving a degree in agronomy from AgroParisTech and a Masters in Business Administration from HEC in Paris, she spent 12 years in the food industry (cotton, palm oil, and tobacco), first as a consultant, and then, via her strong understanding of how to lead complex investment projects in emerging countries, as the director of development with the Bolloré group. She has run Business Digest since 1998, a company that she co-founded in 1992. And she took the Internet plunge by 1996… even before coming on board as part of the BD team.

Mehdi RAMDANI

Mehdi RAMDANI

Editor-in-Chief. Mehdi began his career in the corporate strategy division of Accor Services, subsequently joining Business Digest as associate editor and then becoming editor-in chief. He supervises all Business Digest content written by contributing journalists, economists, and consultants. He is also in charge of customized journals for corporate customers. His favorite subject? Strategic and operational management. His specialty? Transforming research into practical insight for business managers. Mehdi is a graduate of the University of Paris Dauphine.

Caroline Schuurman

Caroline SCHUURMAN

Journalist. Caroline began her career as an entrepreneur, providing translation and editorial services via her own Paris-based enterprise. Joining Business Digest to take charge of our publications in English, she keeps a sharp eye on management and strategy publications around the world, writes articles on the key forces and ideas shaping the global business environment, and conducts interviews with experts and business executives from around the world. Caroline is a graduate of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and Sciences-Po in Paris.

Dominique Charland

Dominique CHARLAND

Knowledge Manager. Dominique is Canadian, and before settling in France, she held a range of media positions in Montreal. At Business Digest, she organizes and manages editorial production; monitors relevant books, journals, blogs, and networks; and delivers Business Digest services to customers through our KMS.

Jeanne ABLY

Jeanne ABLY

Communications coordinator and editorial assistant. Jeanne is in charge of developing Business Digest’s image and communicating about our projects and initiatives. She is assistant to the editor-in-chief, and she also organizes and oversees HR Lab conferences, a series of bimonthly lectures co-sponsored by Business Digest and HEC Paris Executive Education. Jeanne is the linchpin of the team, without which nothing would function.

Elise TERRINI

Elise TERRINI

Editorial Associate. Elise conducts Business Digest’s English-language interviews with executives and researchers worldwide. She joined Business Digest in 2001, having previously taught and designed English learning programs for a Paris language school. She is American and holds a B.A. from Tufts University (Boston) and an M.A. from NYU.
